Cross River State extends bid date for construction of Obudu Int. passenger, cargo airport

The Cross River State has extended closing date for the bid of the construction of the Obudu International passenger/Cargo airport which was put on hold as a result of the global lockdown induced by the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to a press release by the state’s Commissioner for Aviation, Hon. Dr. Jake Out Enyia, the closing date for collection/submission of bids has now being extended to 12 noon on Tuesday, 27th October, 2020.

He said: “This is to enable our International and domestic bidders complete the collection/submission of bids process.

“Those that are yet to bid should see the procurement officer of the Ministry on or before 12noon, 27th October, 2020.

“The opening of bids is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 27th October, 2020 at 12;30 pm in the conference room of the Ministry. Please note that bidders should be presented in persons or by their authorised agents or representatives.”
