The Director-General of the Nigerian Tourism Development Authority (NTDA), Dr. Olayiwola Awakan GrPr, recently visited the DAP Experience Centre in Lekki Lagos, an experiential photography hub founded by renowned photography veteran, Mr. Dayo Adedayo.
While leading the tour, Mr. Adedayo revealed that his motivation was to create a first-of-it-kind world-class destination that showcases Nigeria’s history, culture and tourism through photography, a vision he had since 2003.
The centre is set to feature a photography museum, a resource library, a 5D immersive studio and a simulation experience showcasing various tourist sites and destinations across the country.
The DG commended Mr. Adedayo’s immeasurable efforts towards preserving Nigeria’s history and heritage and reaffirmed NTDA’s commitment to partnering with the DAP Experience Centre to advance the project and further strengthen the country’s cultural and tourism ecosystem.
