Nigeria: Governor Ayade set to boost manpower development with training of Obudu Mountain Resort host community youths

The Governor of Cross River State, Ben Ayade is set to boost the manpower development of the state with the training of the youths of the Obudu Mountain Resort host communities.

The training according to the Special Adviser Obudu Ranch Resort to the governor, Hon Bobby Ekpenyong will enable the youths maximize the economic opportunities at the Obudu Mountain Resort.

According to crsgnewsbulletin.com, Honorable Ekpenyong made this known at the Resort after playing host to guest during the Christmas season, as he decried the huge gap created by lack of basic economic and entrepreneurial activities by the host communities at the Ranch. He further disclosed that the training which is scheduled to commence second week of January 2021 will have resource persons from within and out of the state to train youths and expose them to the economic opportunities that abound in the Resort.

The Special Adviser also stated that he was keying into the spirit of enterprise initiative which is the ingenuity of the Governor Senator Ben Ayade.

Some of the areas of economic opportunities that will be addressed are transportation, craftsmanship, photography, tour guard etc.

Ekpenyong enjoined the youths resident in the community to grab the opportunity provided and make good use of it.
